Zurich as Europe's financial metropolis

Zurich is Switzerland's densest economic area. Bahnhofstrasse and Seefeld are home to hundreds of wealth management firms, law firms and consulting companies. In District 5, the former industrial quarter, there is now a lively startup and agency scene around Viadukt and Schiffbau. Around 90 percent of companies in the Greater Zurich area employ fewer than 50 people. The density of decision-makers per square kilometre is higher in Zurich than in any other Swiss city.
